Verdict

A big field but only a couple make any appeal. ARC LIGHT is one of those as he scored over course and distance on his latest start and looks to have every chance in this off a 4lb higher mark. Tim Easterby's charge is preferred to recent Southwell winner Day Of Destiny as the latter steps up in class but Gran Maestro could get involved if the ground gets any softer. Monthly Medal won here in October and is 6lb higher on his seasonal bow while both Spin Cast and Adili ended last year over hurdles and have something to prove off their current marks.
