        In depth

        Verdict

        Plenty of guesswork needed as to which of these will improve enough to win. A speculative vote goes to DAGHER with William Buick taking over the reins after the former's introduction at Ascot. But Alnashama ran up to a similar level at Leicester on his debut and could also figure while Yorkindred Spirit will have come on for her recent experience at Beverley. Night Generation is in the Derby and related to three winners in Germany but will probably need further to show his best.
