Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

General Hazard landed a double over today’s distance in December but is 12lb higher today while Zabeel Star was placed off today’s mark at Lingfield a fortnight ago. Magistral finished runner-up over 1m4f here last time having missed the whole of last year and looks on a decent mark, as does RESTIVE. The latter failed to win last year but tumbled down the weights as a consequence and a recent second in classified company suggest his turn is not far away. A L’anglaise won a handicap in France last year and will have come on for last month’s debut for new connections at Wolverhampton.
