Verdict
MONTOYA'S SON joined Keith Dalgleish from Ireland in the autumn and promptly completed a hat-trick at this trip. He's up another 6lb but has run well from similar marks in the past and can continue in the winning vein. Categorical won this last year and scored here again in November from a higher mark than today. He couldn't get to Tiptoeaway at Doncaster on Friday but looks back to peak form and should be in the firing-line. However, he would have finished behind Ballymoat in that latter event if Sue Smith's charge hadn't fallen at the last. Trust Thomas is ultra consistent but 10lb higher than his last winning mark while a bad mistake put paid to Supreme Asset's chance last time as it did on his previous start.
