        Verdict

        HERNANDO TORRES won an amateurs’ race by five lengths at Chelmsford last time and an apprentice’s allowance negates a 7lb rise in the weights - Mick Easterby’s charge should go close again. Dose won over a mile at Southwell earlier, her only win so far, while The Magic Pencil recorded his first success when also scoring over a mile here in December. Maiden winner London Glory has not raced since May and neither has handicap debutant Mr Andros but Fingal's Cave is now back on a winning mark having won three times last year.
