Verdict

TATTERED FLAG posted a better effort in first-time cheekpieces when beaten only a short-head at Lingfield recently. The Gosden’s colt can go one better in this. Teumessias Fox failed to show the progress expected when only third over 7f at Kempton but this extra distance will suit and he’s preferred to Marmalashes, who finished closer at Wolverhampton without threatening. Swinton went backwards last time but still looks best of the remainder.
