      Verdict

      Karawaan won a maiden race at Chelmsford last term and wasn’t disgraced in a tough handicap at Goodwood in August. Rainbow Rebel won over 1m4f here in March and can figure while Corked has been competing over a mile since winning over today’s trip at the end of last year. Bounderby looks up against it but the betting suggested ELYSEES PALACE would open his account on a trip over to Dundalk last time and he duly obliged. There should be more to come stepping up in distance and Sir Mark Prescott’s charge gets the nod.
