Corked has been in good form over 1m2f here and finished ahead of Jazz Hands when placed on his latest start. The latter had earlier won over today’s trip at Southwell while Cawthorne Lad scored over 7f at Musselburgh on only his second start of the year and is 4lb higher. Uncle Charlie was well beaten on his only previous attempt at a mile but went close over 7f at the track recently while CHINESE SPIRIT could only manage fourth in soft ground at Ayr last time. But Linda Perratt’s charge was narrowly beaten at the same track before that and gets another chance racing off the same mark here.
