Verdict

Plenty with claims in this opener but LORD HALIFAX has improved for wind surgery and placed over 1m4f recently. He looks worth another try back at this shorter trip while Bobba Tee also drops in distance having gone close here last week. Monsaraz won at Wolverhampton on his debut for new connections and Union Spirit is capable of figuring at this level while Monash has been thereabouts in lower grade contests here lately.
