        Verdict

        Don't Be Surprised has gone close here the last twice now but is still looking for his first success. ZARKAVON has won two of her last three outings, including last month’s course and distance defeat of Rince Deireanach, and should make another bold bid in her current frame of mind despite a 5lb rise. Betty Grable found only one too good here recently but Peruvian Summer returns from a lay-off 6lb higher than when scoring at Southwell last year.
