Verdict
A competitive heat to get proceedings underway but we will give a chance to Moheebb who appeared to be revitalized by the application of blinkers at Doncaster on his most recent outing. Stamina appeared to be the issue as he travelled well until fadding inside the final furlong. He does like a cut in the ground and should the blinkers have the desired effect this time, he should not be too far away. A worry would be his wide draw, as they turn for the best part of 4 furlongs but hold up tactics have been applied before so with that in mind, he should be able to overcome that inconvenience. Osteopathic Remedy was not disgraced on his seasonal debut at Redcar, travelling up quite well before weakening. He does appreciate plenty give in the ground leading to a worry of whether today's conditions will be soft enough. Dancing Lyra has been contesting some decent handicap hurdles during the winter months. Today's trip may just be on the sharp side. Bold Marc carries top weight but has proved he goes well fresh in the past. He is now back down to his last winning mark. Celtic Change disappointed on his final start last season but would have a big chance if reproducing his second in a Newmarket event where conditions would not have been ideal. Moheebb shaped well for a long way Doncaster over an inadequate trip and is our pick to land the opener.
