        Verdict

        Alluring Star has claims on her return to action though the ground may have gone against her. There are also worries concerning Mitchell in today's testing ground while Mick Slates is not badly weighted on his best form but hasn't raced since May. MASKED DANCE has an earlier win over track and trip to his credit and despite being a rare winner nowadays, he'll handle the conditions and gets a token vote in a poor handicap. Grand Jipeck and Graceful Act are others with a shout if at their best.
