In depth

Verdict

Both Belisa and Light Of Joy returned to action with victories at Leicester. The former won in testing ground and has been raised 11lb while the latter scored on fast going and makes more appeal. Stoney Broke has looked high enough in the weights since winning over 1m4f here last season and never threatened the winner when runner-up on her reappearance while COPPER BAKED faded away in soft ground at Haydock last time having run well for a long way. But she won at Wolverhampton before that and racing off only a 3lb higher mark, Karl Burke’s filly gets the vote.
