        Verdict

        There was very little between Kiss Of Spring and Tasmanian when they were third and fourth behind Lilly Junior at Ripon. Mark Johnston's charge still looked green that day so may well reverse placings but could find GLEESE THE DEVIL a tough nut to crack. He ran in snatches when second to Law Keeper at Carlisle but is improving with experience and could be ready to open his account now. None of the others make much appeal on what they've shown so far.
