        Verdict

        Deansgate finished well ahead of both Thello and last year’s winner Equiano Springs when scoring over track and trip last month. He can figure again despite a 3lb rise but another chance goes to NICK VEDDER (NAP). The latter returned a ready winner over 6f here before narrowly beaten in Class 3 company last week and given he scored over today’s longer trip earlier in the year, Michael Wigham’s charge should make a bold bid in this lower grade. Final Frontier was placed at Wolverhampton recently having tumbled down the weights and it’s only a matter of time before new trainer Ruth Carr coaxes him back to winning ways.
