      Verdict

      Novak showed improved form switched to this surface at the end of last year. Sparka was only beaten a nose over 7f here last time but CEPHALUS, who had Maggie’s Joy behind at Southwell, is fancied to take a step up in grade in his stride and complete the hat-trick getting 5lb from the Johnstons’ Devasboy, who still has a bit to prove over this sort of trip.
