Verdict
Lotara drops back in distance today but escapes a penalty having won an apprentices’ race over 7f here last week. Borough Boy was runner-up at Southwell recently having slid down the weights while Broughtons Fancy was placed at Wolverhampton just four days ago and scored at the same track earlier this year. JESSIE ALLAN has yet to win anywhere but gets a speculative vote to finally get her head in front having finished second over track and trip under today’s apprentice on her penultimate start. The latter can claim his 7lb allowance today and that may swing things in her favour.
