Verdict

Midnite Grace went for £23,000 after winning a poor point-to-point in April 2015 but hasn't seen a racecourse subsequently. Midnight Moss has shown up well in bumpers at Doncaster and Southwell and this is by no means a stiff introduction to hurdles as Reverant Cust's best run came over a longer trip and he was still well beaten. Our Delboy has failed to last out the trip in three runs over the minimum at Ludlow but Cyrano Star only weakened in the closing stages over 2m3f at Carlisle and would have a chance on that form. WITNESS TIME has a smart pedigree for jumping and though lacking pace in two starts in bumpers at Ayr that wouldn't be a requirement for this and he's taken to make a successful debut over timber in a race that won't take much winning.
