Verdict

Sandy Thomson and Ryan Mania landed two big pots at Kelso on Saturday and the stable has two entries here. The jockey teams up with Donna's Double, who won a bumper here a couple of years ago and also scored over hurdles on the track last February. Another recent victory over fences at Ayr puts him in the picture though FRENCHY DU LARGE, a regular in this grade and only beaten a length at Taunton after surviving a bad mistake, looks the one to beat. Burrows Diamond is 7lb higher than when scoring at Wetherby in December and though Glittering Love was only beaten a head at Kelso he generally performs at a lower level.
