In depth

Verdict

SERGEANT PINK has plenty of winning form on soft ground over jumps and, though he only won a ladies' race by a neck at Carlisle on Monday, can defy a penalty turned out quickly here with Emma Sayer taking off 5lb. Madrasa looks the danger as he's won three times over this trip, though all of those victories have come at Redcar. None of the others have shown much so far this year but Authentication was well backed over 1m4f here in the spring.
