      Verdict

      Corinthia Knight never threatened when third in a conditions race at Wolverhampton on Boxing Day. He finished in front of Royal Birth on that occasion but both and El Hombre were all beaten by the progressive Lomu in a handicap at Wolverhampton earlier. Keith Dalgleish’s charge faces a tougher task in this, however, and GOOD EFFORT (NAP) is preferred having made a successful raid on the all-weather track at Deauville last time. He’d earlier found Watchable too good over track and trip but re-opposes on more favourable terms today and is taken to come out best. Hareem Queen has been in fine form at Southwell but looks up against it at the weights.
