In depth

Verdict

Tarnhelm landed a double at Carlisle last month but remains 7lb higher than his latest success. The Bull finished behind the latter on one of those occasions though re-opposes on more favourable terms while Ticks The Boxes has won twice on the all-weather so far this year but both times on the Fibresand at Southwell. ROARING RORY has to race off a higher mark back on an artificial surface but Ollie Pears’ charge is still 2lb lower than last year’s course and distance success and it could be his turn again. Patrick slides further down the weights looking to end a long losing run and could go well.
