Verdict
A very poor contest her with some very disappointing types in the field but the principals look to be Dark Champion, Zak Facta, Otylia and we will take a chance on Dark Champion. The three year old was a place behind Otylia last time out but that was over six furlongs and with the drop to five certain to suit Dark Champion more he is taken to score. Zak Facta rates the main danger he was a fair second behind Cayman Breeze last time and a reproduction of that effort would see him go close. Largs would also have place claims on his best form but he has been tried over a variety of trips and looks tripless. Of the remainder Pirlie Hill is one of the least exposed in the field and is worth noting in the market but we are happy to side with Dark Champion.
