Verdict

It’s disappointing that the evening’s feature has attracted only five entries and one of those, Marietta Robusti, is making a quick reappearance having finished third at Lingfield on Wednesday. Lord Of The Glen and Wiff Waff have already met twice over course and distance this year with the score standing at one-all. The latter may just have the better of the weights today but will need to improve to halt the winning run of GRANDFATHER TOM. Bob Cowell’s colt is unbeaten since dropping back to 5f and was placed on Tapeta in January. Knockout Blow has been gelded but won over this trip at Kempton last year and it would be no surprise to see him in the firing-line.
