      Verdict

      MAJOR JUMBO made every yard to win over track and trip last month and, though upped 8lb, nothing looked like catching him including the runner-up Erissimus Maximus, who had earlier beaten today’s rival Cajmere. Tom Dascombe’s charge went on to score at Wolverhampton last time and makes more appeal than Wild Approach, who is upped in class after scoring at Southwell. Atteq has some improving to do dropping back down to 5f while Bay Station has gone backwards since making a winning start at Beverley.
