      CARAUSIUS still looks one step ahead of the handicapper having landed a hat-trick at Southwell with the minimum of fuss. He can defy a further 4lb rise given he’s already beaten both Shake A Leg and Trinity Girl. The latter has since finished second over 2m at Chelmsford while Jomont is upped in distance after missing out on treble over 1m2f here last time. Winning hurdler Caldwell returns to the Flat having undergone wind operation since last in action.
