In depth

Verdict

Colinton completed a course and distance double early in the year and won again at Catterick last month. But he’s 8lb higher today and MURAU has more scope. The latter landed the odds with the minimum of fuss in maiden company here on his reappearance and James Fanshawe’s charge can improve further now handicapping. Atacama Desert is another handicapping for the first time and is preferred to the more-exposed Southwell winner Autonomy. Scheggi went close at the latter track on his debut in this country and can't be ignored.
