    Verdict

A wide open contest here with very little between many of the leading lights but the pricipals look to be Over The Storm, Ambition Royal and Renvyle and the narrow vote is given to Ambition Royal. The selection was a fair fourth behind Theater Knight last time out and with the drop in trip appearing to be in his favour he looks the value bet in an open affair. Over The Storm rates the main danger as he won well last time out when beating Runaway Bishop but he is far from consistent and he may just need the run after a 195 day break and he is taken on with this in mind. Renvyle is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he is hard to win with. Farington Lodge goes well at the track and looks on a handy mark so could go well at a price, while Aegean looks weighted up to his best and in a trappy affair for the winner we return to Ambition Royal.
