In depth

Verdict

Charlie D won over 1m6f at Newmarket last month and is better off at the weights with Glan Y Gors for an earlier defeat at Wolverhampton. The latter has since finished runner-up here in the consolation race for the Northumberland Plate while Anyonecanhaveitall had been progressing well until disappointing in the Plate itself when behind fourth-placed COSMELLI. The latter was beaten only a couple of lengths on that occasion and should make a bold bid in this lesser company. Sleeping Lion has placed over 2m in the past and is preferred to Ajman Prince of the remainder.
