In depth

Verdict

Lake View Lad won three times over hurdles last season but also fell twice since it will be interesting to see how he copes with these bigger obstacles. CHIDSWELL stays further so Brian Harding will be keen to make the most of his stamina here. He made a fair start over fences behind Cloudy Dream at Carlisle and can put that experience to good use here. Pistol Park was only fourth off this mark at Carlisle after winning at Hexham while Boss Des Mottes also needs more. The mare Danielle's Journey is tackling fences for the first time and needs further.
