Verdict
It could pay to stick with DIOCLES OF ROME (NAP) in this. Ralph Beckett’s charge won a higher grade contest over course and distance last time, with Sanaadh well behind, and can defy a 4lb rise. Shallow Hal counted Gunmetal among his victims when scoring over 6f here but has something to prove on previous efforts over today’s trip but Dawaaleeb completed a double over a mile here at the end of last year and beat Spiorad on one of those occasions. Aljari has a fine strike rate on the all-weather though hasn’t raced since October.
