Verdict

DE BOITRON is not one to trust with the stable yet to fire but his weight-for-age allowance makes him an attractive proposition against some moderate and exposed rivals. A two-time winner over in France, the selection comes here on the back of a moderate eighth of eleven at Uttoxeter. Dropped 3lbs for that run and likely to glean significant fitness from the outing, he must be of interest here if the market speaks in his favour. Justwhateverulike racked up a hat-trick earlier in the year but he signed off in June with a lacklustre run and his reappearance at Sedgefield was little better; the handicapper may have his measure. Cash Man is yet to win in six starts over fences over a variety of trip and this fair hurdler may appreciate a return to that sphere, whilst Wot Way Chief has been off the track for 14 months but cannot be ruled out on his chasing debut for a yard in form. The market could play a part here but it is De Boitron who is the pick.
