      In depth

Morrooj and Alamora finished fourth on their respective debuts in separate divisions of the same race over 7f at Kempton. Both showed enough promise to suggest they can figure in the finish over this longer trip but SALSADA is taken to edge affairs. The latter found only one too good in what looked a tougher novices' race over track and trip last month and may prove good enough. The Mackem Missile is related to five winners and preferred to Scherzo and Party Planner of the newcomers.

Misstify Albaasil filly out of Miss Holly.

Alamora 10-1 (8-10) Slow into stride, held up, pushed along and headway over 1f out, stayed on towards finish, 4th of 10, 2 1/2l behind Lottie Marie (8-10) at Kempton 7f mdn fll stks (5) pol in Jan.

Famous Minx (IRE) 100-1 (8-11) Led until 3f out, lost place 2f out, weakened after, last of 6, 14 3/4l behind Al Maysan (9-9) at Newcastle 1m stks (5) pol in Jan.

Ingleby Exile Rock Of Gibraltar filly out of Ingleby Exceed.

Morrooj (IRE) 11-10fav (8-10) Dwelt towards rear, pushed along and headway 2f out, kept on inside final furlong, nearest finish, 4th of 10, 3 1/2l behind Badrah (8-10) at Kempton 7f mdn fll stks (5) pol in Jan.

Party Planner Mastercraftsman filly out of Sweet Sixteen.

Salsada (IRE) 14-1 (9-0) Tracked leaders, ridden over 1f out, every chance entering final furlong, kept on one pace, 2nd of 10, 1 1/2l behind London Arch (9-5) at Newcastle 1m stks (4) pol in Jan.
