Verdict
Pass The Class rates as a speculative pick ahead of My Arch and Remainder. Sue Smith's charge has had a break from the track and while his chasing career has been a distinct none event - he has some bits and pieces of form in the book that read well over hurdles so if he can rediscover any of it here, he has to be considered to be a player. My Arch is beginning to look exposed these days. He shapes as if staying the trip albeit in his own time. Remainder made hay from basement figures but can be forgiven for floundering on bottomless going at Haydock Park. Galant Nuit ran a fair fourth to Quick Will at Kelso. If he stays the trip, he is a danger to all. Run To Space hails from a yard that are in good form at the moment. Held up in the past, don't expect to see him figuring too early. Treacle Moon shaped with some promise at Wetherby earlier in the season and wouldn't be out of this. Macchiato has place claims. Pass The Class does need something of a leap of faith to be with him but with Sue Smith sending out winners at present, he represents value in a competitive race.
