      Verdict

      Most make their handicap debuts and return from a lay-off. LAND LEGEND found only a subsequent handicap winner too good over a mile at Southwell in January with breeding suggesting this extra distance will suit. He’s been gelded since along with Sovereign Spirit and Alumnus, who both went backwards when last in action, while the filly Bint Al Daar is another upped in trip having placed over a mile last year.
