Verdict

The ability of FATIMA'S GIFT to handle the prevailing ground has to be taken on trust but she has every chance if acting on it. Her debut fifth at Newmarket is the best form on offer and she can open her account ahead of Barefoot Sandy. The latter was beaten over eight lengths in soft ground at Pontefract last time with Flying Nellie further behind. The Lark didn't fare too badly on her first start when fourth at Nottingham and looks best of the rest.
