Verdict

With the predicted going due to be 'good' then it may pay to side with Free To Run who has shown in the past he is capable on a quicker surface and although stepping up in trip and class from his victory last time out should be strong enough for this field provided the ground stays no worse than good to soft. If it comes up heavy an interest in Solway Breeze could pay (despite his trainer having both poor course and recent form) as he showed consistent form last season probably putting in his worst run of the season when winning at Ayr. Lord Capitaine is not guaranteed to be suited by this track and although winning twice last season will need to improve to score here and his recent run offers little encouragement. He could be a favourite worth laying on the exchanges. The other two Red Rampage and Fiolino although capable on their day can not be trusted.
