In depth

Verdict

Watersmeet has the past form over 2m to play a leading role in this but was withdrawn when favourite at Wolverhampton last week having proved unruly in the stalls. It remains to be seen what mood he’s in today and MOUNTAIN BELL (NAP) is preferred. A Listed winner over 1m4f, she may well possess the required stamina to score over 2m and has a leading chance at the weights. Master Singer has plenty to prove over this distance but the older horses Cohesion and Cape Cova should last home with the former making most appeal on a last week’s second at Wolverhampton.
