Verdict

Having been turned over when 8/15 here over 2m4f last time, Ungaro may not be one to place too much faith in and a safer bet looks to be Nine De Sivola, who is preferred to Overserved. The last mentioned is going the right way and could still be well treated racing off just a 6lb higher mark than when scoring at Uttoxeter on his return last month. The consistent Russian Sky is entitled to be thereabouts once more, while San Peire cannot be discounted with the Howard Johnson stable in such good form. Just Beth has been running consistently well and is another worthy of a mention but a better bet looks to be Nine De Sivola, who was good value for his success at Wetherby in novice company last time and looks to be reasonably well handicapped for his debut in this grade.
