In depth

Verdict

General Duroc, Corlande and Habitual Dancer are sure to have their supporters here, but we will take a chance on Totally Scottish. The selection is not easy to catch right but he will love this ground and at the forecast odds he looks worth chancing. Habitual Dancer beat him home last time at Wetherby so has to be respected, but our selection is prone to throwing in a disappointing effort and we are prepared to forgive him that most recent failure. Corlande has to be of interest as he is running well and will love this ground. If our selection has an off day then he could be the one to profit. General Duroc is another who enjoys bottomless ground but he may be better over further, and for the winner we are prepared to take a chance on Totally Scottish.
