MENAI (NAP) is penalised for last week’s success at Windsor but he scored by four lengths on that occasion and can go in again. Funding Deficit has slipped down the weights and posted a better effort at Ascot last time but Tanasoq was still beaten five lengths when runner-up at Yarmouth last month and gets first-time headgear. Manatee Bay went close over track and trip just four days ago but is upped in class while an 8lb rise proved beyond Wolverhampton winner Sophisticated Heir when he was well beaten at Chester.
