Verdict

Si Bien showed promise over timber, despite remaining a maiden, and made a decent start over fences behind Sonowyouno at Carlisle in November. He's jumped poorly on his two subsequent runs, however, and has DEGAS ART to contend with here. Howard Johnson's charge was once a very useful hurdler who beat Katchit in a Listed contest at Wetherby in 2006. He has never really looked at home in four efforts over fences but has been persevered with and gets another opportunity to kick-start his career. With jumping possibly a problem for the principals, Quinola Des Obeaux may come in for support as this former Irish bumper and maiden hurdle winner is another on the comeback trail, though there has been little evidence of form on his last two starts.
