      Verdict

      Choice Encounter made a winning start in handicaps when successful over 6f at Kempton and returns to novice company under a penalty. But NOMORECALLS may well take advantage on these terms as he was gelded after a modest debut effort at Ripon and returned to action with an improved showing at Lingfield earlier in the month. Bob Cowell’s charge gets the nod with Musical Theatre perhaps best of the rest on an earlier second at Chelmsford. Mayfair Rock is a half-sister to winners on the all-weather and preferred to Nearest Green of the newcomers.
