In depth

Verdict

Better was expected from Tathmeen here last week having won over track and trip before that. Canford Bay beat Foxy Forever at Wolverhampton last month but never figured on his latest start in a tougher sprint than this while Fendale’s earlier second at the track came over 6f. ALSVINDER was winning off higher marks in this grade at this time last year and, after a much-improved effort when beaten a length at Chelmsford last time, it could be the turn of Philip Kirby’s charge again.
