Verdict
Zed Candy produced a better effort back over hurdles at Newton Abbot earlier this month and Warwick winner Snake Charmer didn't run badly off his new mark when seventh at Doncaster two weeks ago. Night In Milan wasn't suited by the drop in distance here last time and is preferred to Sunnyside and Kings Guard, who may be in the handicapper's grip at present. But this looks a good opportunity for CHARLIE BUCKET to open his account. Donald Whillans' charge hasn't many miles on the clock for an eight-year-old and has twice gone close this season when there has been plenty of give in the ground. Political Paddy is likely to run his race again and is probably best of the rest.
