Verdict
Gavlar won over track and trip in March and finished just ahead of Isharah when fourth off today’s mark at Ripon. Champagne Champ went close over 2m2f at Newbury on his reappearance while Flymetothestars returns to action off an 8lb higher mark having won on his handicap debut over 1m2f here in October. The veteran Zakatal won here in March but is up in class today and ENDLESS ACRES is preferred having placed in a higher grade at Kempton last time and won easily over 2m at the same track previously.
