In depth

Verdict

AYE RIGHT is clear of these on jumps ratings. Placed in Graded races over fences, he went close over 2m1f at Kelso earlier and is preferred to Dear Sire. A prolific winner over hurdles, the latter should have the measure of both Weather Front and Golden Town on these terms while Wise Eagle finished a decent second on his hurdling bow and was of similar ability to Gylo on the Flat. Monticello was a decent handicapper on the level back in 2017 but never figured over hurdles on a recent return to action.
