        Verdict

        Polar Forest has suffered a couple of narrow-margin defeats including a second at this track last month. A runner-up to Alluring Star at Nottingham last time, a line through the latter gives him a bit to find with MYSTERIOUS WONDER. Philip Kirby's charge was making his seasonal debut when third at Catterick and may well be good enough to land a poor handicap such as this. Graceful Act scored over 7f here on her return to action but remains 5lb higher and Taxiformissbyron makes more appeal off her current mark though could do with the ground drying out.
