Course regular Deolali won five times here last year including a double in December. He’ll be in the mix again but LITTLE RED SOCKS may edge this. The latter scored at Wolverhampton recently having slipped down the weights and can defy a penalty dropping down in class today. Nordic Fire was placed for the fourth time in succession when second at Southwell while Calonne was beaten only a length over track and trip having won over a mile at the track earlier. Pivotal Decision remains unexposed and is worth a second glance back on this surface after placing at Southwell.
