Verdict

ONE FOR LUCK landed a nice touch when scooting in at Wetherby where he would have won more easily but for hanging on the run-in. He's not straightforward and has an 8lb rise to contend with but should complete a double providing the ground doesn't turn soft. Full Speed has won his last two starts on the Flat and he's another suited to quicker ground but Dun To Perfection, a winner at Carlisle last November, would prefer more testing conditions. The four-year-old Luctor Emergo is finally getting his act together and may prove best of the remainder.
